Lacey N. Dunham's fiction and nonfiction have appeared or are forthcoming in Ploughshares (online), McSweeney's Internet Tendency, CHEAP POP, Midwestern Gothic, The Other Stories, The Collagist, and Full Stop, among others. She received her degree in creative writing from Hollins University, where she was awarded the Melanie Hook Rice Award for Creative Fiction. The editor of five anthologies of writing that have received recognition in the Washington Post, NPR, and the New York Times, she is currently the fiction editor at Necessary Fiction and a reader for Story. She formerly worked with the literary journals A Public Space and Electric Literature's Recommended Reading and served as a judge of the Minnesota Book Awards. A first-generation college graduate, she lives in Washington, DC.
